5 mile run. … The Our
House run takes you through the scenic hills of
Summit and goes right past
the front door of the DeBary Inn. This is one of NJ’s finest races.
Over 600 racers compete. $3,000 in prize money is given. |

Art show … The Summit Outdoor
Art Show is an open air sidewalk art show and sale. |

Outdoor concerts … The Concert on the
Green series provides free band music on the Green across from
the train station. Generally, the concert is on Tuesday evenings. |

Farmers’ market … This open air market
is held on Sundays from 8:30 AM until 1:30 PM in a downtown parking lot. Buy some heirloom tomatoes, fresh mozzarella,
or flowers. |

Fireworks … It’s the biggest
in the area. 1.5 miles away from DeBary. |

Car show … The Classic Car Show
is outdoors in downtown Summit. It’s free. |

5K Run … This is the 2nd
annual 5K run (and a 2 mile walk) sponsored by the Summit YMCA.
The run begins at 1 p.m. on the Village Green
(across from the train station in downtown Summit). A two mile walk starts
at 1:15 p.m. The race course winds
through Summit neighborhoods. You’ll
need to register for the race and pay a fee. See the YMCA
